Youth Ski Program

Fall is upon us and winter is just around the corner. The snow is getting lower down the mountains, and we're ready to get back on skis! The 2018/19 Ski Season will soon be here.

We have amazing volunteer coaches who help teach ski technique, trail etiquette, etc. We focus on the fundamentals of skiing: coordination, balance and unabashed enjoyment in a supportive environment. We either split into smaller groups based on age and ability or participate in games and exercises as a large group.

No ski experience necessary.

Who can participate?

Any youth aged 4 to 17 can join! Just fill out the registration form. Your child should have their own equipment, but if you do not have any skis for them, use the contact us page to let us know how we can help!

How much does it Cost?

We encourage annual membership to PCNSA and an additional donation of (TBA) per child earmarked for “YOUTH Program”. Please use the "Donate" button on the membership page. You are also welcome to bring these voluntary donations to any practice. All coaches are volunteers, giving of their time and talents to help make this possible. Annual memberships make it possible to keep up with the grooming needs, and we hope to be able to cover snacks for participants, maintain the skis we have available, and hopefully gifts for the volunteer coaches.

When does it Start?

Registeration starts: TBA

Program starts:  TBA from 10:00-12:00

What a better way to start the weekend or carve out a little time for yourself.

Join this group Friday morning for an unguided exploration of the trails.

Cross country ski or snowshoe at your own pace.  Then enjoy a potluck lunch of soup and other delicious treats. We meet at a local parking lot and car-pool up.

No experience needed.

We encourage annual membership to PCNSA .  Annual memberships make it possible to keep up with the grooming needs and the up keep of other amenities.
